NBC26 WAGT: Kasey was hired as a Multimedia Journalist for the Augusta, GA station (June 2014). Kasey enterprises
original content for the 6 & 7 PM newscasts. She specifically thrives on investigative stories. As a
reporter, Kasey has covered GOP Presidential candidates Jeb Bush, Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina.
HOUSTON ASTROS: As the “Face of the
Astros,” for (March
2013) spring training in
Florida, Kasey worked as
the visible team and
stadium talent. She
performed field
interviews with players,
and produced game day
entertainment videos that
aired between innings.
FOX NEWS NETWORK: While
working for the FOX
News Network in New
York, Kasey helped produced daily news segments, coordinated talent and scheduling, regularly
contributed unique and high-interest stories at the daily pitch meetings, gave the on-air national
sports report. She took great satisfaction in producing her submitted stories and bringing them to
life for FOX’s national viewers.
ESPN & ESPN RADIO: Working for ESPN and ESPN Radio, Kasey developed news stories
by conducting talent interviews, writing stories and performing all related production and editing
roles. Kasey worked the “red carpet” during the 2011 ESPN College Football Awards show at
Disney World performing live and taped interviews of players and coaches.
WEDU (PBS): Kasey interned for WEDU (PBS) in Tampa, FL for a year. Kasey was given key
tasks in developing stories, writing scripts, production, and participated in numerous on-air
programs as a panel member discussing controversial subjects.
WUFT-TV (Univ. of Florida): At the University of Florida, one of the nation’s most highly
acclaimed communications schools, Kasey worked daily for the television and radio broadcast
stations as a news anchor, reporter, producer and on-air talent. She also performed all related
production tasks of working behind the camera. As a news anchor and reporter, her stories were
regularly broadcast throughout the North Florida market.
